From a Princess to a Witch.

The challenge in flickr has something to do with witches. I guess you can do anything you want as long as it's about 'witch'.

I thought of creating a 'white witch'. A witch whose costume/dress is colored white. We all know that when we say witch, it's already associated with color black. So I thought I will change it.

When I created this white witch paper dress, I was thinking of creating a long costume, however, it turned out to look like a gown (lol) then just realized it that it doesnt really suited for being a witch. haha. Here's the first look :

So, I cut the dress and made a broom and a hat and here are the witch blythe photos :

She is trying to escape on this last one. lol

The Birthday / Release month! ~ A new beginning

July is a very special month. It is Boho's release month into the Blythe world.

Follow the link below to read her release notes last June 2010.

http://www.blythedoll.com/eng/news/2010/06/final_design_for_the_neo_blyth_1.html

And of course, July is my birthday month. Coincident?

And now, I am adding my 2 other Blythe girls into this blog.

Cassiopeia spice - Cassie - She is my first ever blythe doll.

Punkaholic People - London - This is a gift to me for my birthday!

I have this idea in each of them. Boho is my art doll. The other is the craft doll and the other is the traveling blythe doll. See the picture below to know which is which. More to come!

P.S. They are all in their original clothes, except the last two pictures!

Continuation... The Runaway Bride...

No wonder why Boho was running from the last photo. She was running out of the church... and here she goes, her adventure continues...

She is sooo tired and just sit in a bridge...

She slept and woke up and thought.. life must go on...

Stay tuned for more of Boho's adventure!

You are invited!!! ~ A Blythe Bride Story

Yes, I'd like to make a photo story, about a Blythe - of course, Boho - getting married. I still have to arrange the photos so you better wait for it. In the meantime, here's one of my favorite photos in shoot.

Boho is getting married.

You never heard about her boyfriend before. Is this something that she likes to do now?

More importantly, does she love the boy?

Find out on my next post!

She's back!!! ... with straight hair!

Yay!!! Well i didn't do any trick whatsoever... I just combed her hair almost everyday... this shows the quality of the blythe doll... I screwed up her hair and now it's back... I really thought I would have to deal with that kinky hair... Thank God it's straight again and she looks lovely again. Happy!!!

Here's the inspiration of this shoot. From America's next top model cycle 10 makeovers.

My Blythe version of ANTM cycle 16 episode 4 shoot!

HA! Found this shot for my Blythe version of ANTM cycle 16 episode 4 where they had the Mad Men / 1960's / Fierce Roast Commercial. I had a bit of trouble with the hair... very hard! :( Hopefully I was able to capture the theme.

By the way, this was shot before the crazy hair damage thing happened.

Damaged Hair

Well as you all know, I've been trying to do the same photoshoots with ANTM cycle 16. And, I am not sure if you noticed, most of the time the girls are getting curly hair. And I tried to do that with Boho for the photoshoots... unfortunately, I forgot to remove the curlers (?) and here is what happened... Damaged hair. Lesson learned : Curl the hair the day before the shoot! ...

ANTM Cycle 16 episode 3 - My Blythe edition

I don't have time to go out and take the photo outside but I tried to get the essence of the shoot which is more of couture dresses ( i hope so )

Plus, I tried to have Boho's hair to be curly. Hopefully it will straightened back.

I used Cassie ( my CS Blythe ). I like the combination of their hair. Red and Blonde.

Til next week!

ANTM Cycle 16 Episode 2 - Blythe Edition

My Blythe version of ANTM Cycle 16 Episode 2.

Last week, the ANTM girls had a beauty shot highlighting jewelries with bees.

ANTM girls challenge is to pose with the bees. My challenge is to put that strange looking eye browse and dark lipstick. :)

A quick shoot - a la ANTM cycle 16 episode 1 - The Blythe way

I dont have any plans of doing the same shots with ANTM but I thought it's challenging to have a Blythe version of their photoshoots.

This was just an instant idea as I don't have anything to do so I cannot promise that I can have a version of every single episode. But let me know your inputs, I might consider it :)

What is her best photo out of the four? Hope she won't be eliminated.

March 2011 - Let's celebrate Saint Patrick's day the Blythe way.

I searched the internet for a March celebration and St. Patrick's day seems to be the most celebrated one.

So here we are.

I don't have much props so thought of using a green dress, her green eye chips and for the first time a field photo shoot.

And yes, I'm so sorry guys if I also posted this pic on my flicker account. I am planning to post pictures here exclusively and to be able to advertise this site, I had to post the same pic there.

Do you celebrate Saint Patrick's day? Let me know how.

Happy Saint Patrick's day!!!!

Gong Xi Fa Cai 2011 - February 2011

For February 2011, I've chosen the Chinese New Year to be the theme. It's very colorful and festive at the same time I wish to have prosperity and good luck to all of us!

I personally like this red dress, very chinese new year.

We don't have enough props so I decided to use the 2 mandarin oranges. They say you should always receive 2 of them for good luck. So there you are, 2 oranges for you from us!

(also, i want to show you how beautiful her left and right eye colors are)

Once again, Gong Xi Fa Cai 2011! Happy Lunar New Year 2011!

A tribute.

Days before I upload my first Blythe photography here and my feeling was so high in excitement, I received a sad news from home. My dog Robee was very ill and won't eat anymore. I am a dog lover. Robee is my first dog. After several days, he died. That excitement turned into sadness and grief. I am still mourning. My world stopped and didn't want to think about anything.

Although, I am still mourning for the loss of a loved one, I want to continue this.

My first photo post is about my dog. We were lucky enough to get an exact replica of my dog.

I hope that you can see my emotions through my pictures.

I would like to dedicate this blog site to my dog Robee. And I would like to thank him and I just want him to know that I love him so much and I will never forget him and I am hoping that he is happy where he is now. No sickness, no loneliness. Just happy, content and healthy. And hopefully sniffing and checking up on me all the time. In time, I will see him and we will be forever again.

First blog. Intro.

I am just going to make this short and simple.

This blog site will show you blythe photos that I will shoot in different dresses and themes every month, who knows every week. But the main point is to make beautiful photos with blythe dolls. That's it!

I am going to use Bohemian Peace doll that I call Boho :)

Please stay tuned for my future photos that you can only find on this blog site.

I like Blythes and I love taking pictures.

P.S. I would love if you can give me ideas on themes as well.

Take care and enjoy Blythe.
